Alliance Door Products, in partnership with our vendors, offers a full slate of green building products.
In overview, green door products fall under the following environmental disciplines:
- Improved indoor air quality
- Sustainable materials
- Recyclable content
- Contribution to environmental standards (LEED, Energy Star, etc.)
- Thermal performance/energy efficiency
Alliance works with vendors to ensure that our combined investment results in environmental strengths in the areas of internal manufacturing process; product development to recognized third-party standards; and facility certification such as Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody.

The Canadian rating systems are an adaptation of the US Green Building Council's (USGBC) LEED Green Building Rating System, tailored specifically for Canadian climates, construction practices and regulations and are administered by the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC).
