We are excited to announce the

2026 MEXICO OUTREACH TRIP —May 19-29, 2026—

sponsored by our Lynden Door Family of Companies

The team will be returning to the Mount of Olives Children’s Village, part of Missions Network International (MNI), in Uruapan, Baja California, Mexico May 19-29, 2026.
For over 20 years, MNI has partnered with various outreach teams to build houses for families in need, medical clinics, and an orphanage. Our relationship with MNI began in 2007 when we sent our first team of volunteers to help build houses in the orphanage. More recently, we have had the privilege of sending teams in 2018, 2019, 2023, 2024, and 2025 to help build an auto shop, learning center, and homes for families in need.

How it works.

We will select 20 team members from the applicant pool to build our Outreach Team, with at least one employee from each location.

Your “Outreach Trip” begins shortly after the team is announced, many months before our departure date!

Various fundraisers will help us get to know our team members and raise funds for needed project materials. The fundraising efforts will allow your co-workers that are not able to make the trip to Mexico to play an active part in this year’s outreach trip. It is an amazing opportunity for us as a company to use our wide range of unique skills and strengths to serve those in need.

"Seeing the tangible results of our combined efforts—and the joy on the family’s face—was a powerful reminder of the importance of service and community. "

Don Minato

"Meeting all the different people from different branches and listening to their stories about their lives was awesome."

Jeff Benoit

"While I was there I was blessed to be baptized by Pastor Bill and all my new family was there to take place in something special to me. "

Mike Kelton

"These experiences reminded me of the real purpose of missions: connection, compassion, and transformation—for both those we serve and ourselves."

Kellyn Alflen

"I wanted to go on this trip to walk out what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus. I felt like that and much more was accomplished. I am hoping that the impact we left as a team was as great, if not greater than the impact it left on my life."

Jacob Alcamo

"This was a life-changing experience for me, and I think it can also be the same for others, so if it has ever crossed your mind to go, don’t overthink it, do it!"

Letty Vizcaino

"Creating life-changing opportunities for a family in need of a house and making a small impact on the migrant camps was a humbling experience that reminded me just how blessed we are. I am very grateful I was able to share those experiences with the team."

Caleb Alcamo

"The outreach trip to Mexico was amazing. I am endlessly thankful for the opportunity. Helping to build the house for Alvino and his family was one of the most educational and fulfilling things I have ever done."

Rob Duel

"This trip opened my eyes and taught me to be truly grateful for everything I have and for where I am in life. Witnessing the realities of others—especially the children in the orphanages and the families in the migrant camps—was humbling. Seeing how they live, not by choice but by circumstance, made me reflect on who I am and the kind of person I want to become."

Brianna Peralta

"I will never forget this trip; I think I left a piece of my heart back in Mexico."

Cheyanne Cooper

"If you’re looking for something meaningful, something that will truly impact your life, this is it. Don’t miss the chance to be part of it next year. You’ll laugh, you’ll grow, you’ll be blessed in ways you never expected, and you’ll come back with a heart full of memories and a fresh new outlook on life."

Stacy Sires

"Being there to bring a smile to the people who struggle daily to sometimes just survive the day. Reaching out and giving some of those basic things was such a bittersweet feeling, because we wanted to do so much more. There is still such a great need for so many in the community."
